Meet Jenny
Roo is a 6-year-old, spirited Boxer-Lab mix with a big heart and a gift for bringing comfort. She has spent her career as a trauma facility dog, supporting children, teens, adults, and families through some of their hardest moments. With her gentle presence and playful spirit, Roo brings a sense of calm and a smile to everyone she meets. She has earned her Canine Good Citizen certificate and participates in annual recertifications to ensure her skills and training remain sharp. When she’s not working, Roo enjoys long walks, a good game of fetch, and curling up for naps on the couch. She’s excited to meet you and share her trademark mix of unconditional love and support!
I use an integrative, trauma-informed approach, drawing from evidence-based modalities like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), mindfulness practices, play therapy techniques, and animal-assisted therapy. My goal is to create a safe and empowering space where every story is heard and valued, and where healing can unfold in a way that feels meaningful to you.
I earned a Master of Science in Social Work and have spent my career serving a wide range of individuals in our community. I work with children, adolescents, teens, and adults, tailoring treatment to meet each client’s unique needs and developmental stage. Together, we’ll explore coping skills, build resilience, and help you feel supported and understood—wherever you are on your journey.
****Jenny is available for sessions with children (4+), teens, families, adults and older adults on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays(4pm - 6 pm) with some weekend availability.

Hello! I am so glad you are here!
I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over six years of experience supporting individuals and families through life’s toughest moments. My career began in a trauma hospital setting, where I had the privilege of walking alongside people navigating physical trauma, depression, anxiety, emotional dysregulation, and other complex challenges—often with my trusted therapy dog, Roo, by my side.
