Play Therapy

Humans socialize and come to understand their world through exploration and experience. This is most often done through play. Play therapy takes this understanding and uses it to move through and work with the challenges that you and your child are facing.

Therapy Q & A

  • We are out-of-network providers, which means we do not bill through insurance panels. Check out this article to understand why we choose not to accept insurance.

Some insurance plans offer partial coverage, or in some cases, complete coverage for services with an out-of-network provider. We can provide you with a statement suitable for submission to insurance companies for reimbursement (a “superbill”). If you would like assistance in submitting your superbills to your insurance company please check out Mentya who offers this service to clients.

You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate approximating the cost of services, upon request.

  • Our fees have been set to reflect the costs of graduate and post-graduate training, costs of supporting our offices and building, state licensing board fees, supplies, and continuing education credits.

We encourage you to think about therapy in the same way you would a medical procedure or pursuing a career you have found a passion for. Therapy is an investment with the potential to profoundly alter your life. Schedule a free 15-minute phone consultation to decide if it would be a good fit before deciding to invest in this for yourself.

Each therapist's rates are listed at the end of their About - Our Team section.

  • All of our therapists are members of Open Path Therapy Collective which offers therapy services at a reduced rate in effort to provide quality, transformational, affordable mental healthcare to those in need. Please search for our therapists and their Open Path Collective profile here.

  • Please send us a message and we will get you scheduled for a 15-minute free consultation. Please indicate you are interested in therapy in the subject line of the message and tell use a bit about why you are reaching out so we can be sure to connect you to the therapist who would be the best fit.
